Founded in 2005 with a vision to become a global supplier of metal castings, our main aim is to fulfill our customers’ demands by finding appropriate supplier solutions.

Our division aims to meet the market demand through producing casting at our foundries, establishing joint ventures with existing foundries and subcontracting options.

Subcontracting

Over the years, železárny Štěpánov, spol. s.r.o. built itself up to what it is now - a well reputed foundry producing Grey and Ductile Iron castings. It earned its reputation by excelling in the production of motor frame and today it is one of the best foundries in Europe in the production these castings. Today it can boast about its products, clientele and reputation.

The success of the company however has resulted in lack of free capacity to produce new products and accept new clients. Venture Asia was fully launched in the year 2006 with the identification of capable and reliable partners in India and China. Although, Zelezarny had been doing research in subcontracting from Asia for almost three year before launching the venture, the initiation took place only in the year 2006. The identification of partners in India and China who shared the same goals and values finaly enabled us to launch this project. We have been able to build up strong business as well as personal ties with our partners and base our partnership on mutual support and individual responsibility. Our partners share the same zeal for delivering quality products to our customers by not compromising on quality on<account of price or profit. Aiming to build up our reputation and reliability is seen by members of our corporation as the best way to establish a successful business

Our strategy in China

China is a country with endless possibilities for production. Anyone who has been to foundries in china does not doubt the technological ability to produce casting at required standards. Accompanied with the availability of both skilled and unskilled manpower china is today a force to be reckoned with. However, most companies that have ventured into china have rather disappointing experiences especially with quality of products and delivery of products.

We cooperate with a team of Chinese who are not only experts in foundry technology but also well aware of the foundries in the region their production capacities, specialization, technology and capability.

Processing of RFQ

  • Locating the most suitable foundry for producing the required castings
  • Development of pattern and tooling depending on the intricacy and quantity requirement
  • Machining using the most modern CNC machines

Quality Control

  • Conducting tests as per the requirement of customers
  • Internal defect analysis via proof machining or ultra-sound
  • Preparing measurement protocols
  • Quality inspections are carried out by foundries producing the castings and by inspectors from our team
  • Packaging and delivery to an appropriate port
  • Custom clearance and delivery as per customers’ requirement
